Design Challenge: Client wanted the kitchen enlarged but kept thinking she had
to rework the existing space. | Solution: I
suggested to reposition the kitchen to the back of the home, where the dining
room was and move the dining room to the existing kitchen area. | |

The client wanted a pantry closet – when I moved the kitchen I was able to
create a walk in pantry by the stairs to the basement. Constructing the pantry
walls on an angle provided some privacy from the living area. | |

The client loved the Bay window that over looked her garden and I took that as my cue for the design solution. |
We shortened the window so we could position the sink below. | |
